Needless to say, paranormal websites
exist on the internet in great abundance.
All of us are routinely accused
of fabricating the content periodically by somebody. You get to where
you can almost set your watch by it. "Whelp, it's been awhile, time
for somebody to tell my guestbook that I'm a fraud or an idiot".
(Those get promptly deleted so don't
waste your time). I am neither.
Some people really seem to need
to get that off their chest. I'll assume that in so doing, it makes
them feel better about themselves by comparison and just puts a little
spring in their step for the rest of the day. Of course what you
don't know,
(you who like to poo in people's
guestbooks), is that well adjusted people do not care about the material
enough to work up any emotional vomitus to spew. They simply chuckle
and go about their business.
The anger of those who can't resist
the outlet is duly noted anyway. We all hope that things will get better
for you eventually.
This site exists for the two-fold
purpose of allowing visitors a source of validation for experiences that
they have had as well as providing the Spirit Beings a resource with which
to get their messages out, hopefully without scaring the crap out of "lay
people" in the process. It does not exist as any kind of conversion
tool against self described "skeptics". I do not have anything that
I'm interested in trying to prove to you folks. Get your own proof
by making an attempt to record EVP yourself.
None of the more vocal of you has
even bothered to try this you know, that's what gets me, but I digress.
Those of you who are finding yourself
with a choice of hundreds of paranormal-themed sites to visit are not looking
for "proof" exactly, anyway. Nope, you have already experienced something
more or less troublesome, or possibly uplifting and what you're looking
for is "VALIDATION" that other regular, everyday people like yourself have
experienced the same thing
or something similar.
The experiences of others represent
the closest you are going to get to the "truth"; or at least YOUR truth.
I don't believe that paranormal websites
make the stuff up, frankly. I don't know why anybody would go to
that much trouble to fool people or what their objective would be.
I base that on my personal supposition that the internet is a microcosm
of real life, comprised of real people and that most of them are good and
honest and helpful.
Just like real life, there are also
some buggers but they, I believe are a minority.
So where do you want to go in your
quest for validation of paranormal experiences
and more information
and badly needed support that you
can rely upon?......
STAY AWAY FROM PARANORMAL WEBSITES.
.......until you have done some more
research in the following manner:
Whatever it was, GOOGLE it.
Look for passing remarks in non-paranormal-specific places such as any
of the unrelated usenet groups where a discussion may have turned in that
direction. Search on keywords such as "strange voices" and see what
pops up or try the phrase "hearing (or heard) strange voices". Read
the comments made by ham radio operators who know damn well everything
there is to know about frequencies but who were suddenly taken aback by
something that they heard; or read what commercial airplane pilots have
to say about the less conventional things that they have heard and seen.
If paranormal photographs are what interest you, again, spend some time
looking, not at galleries of those things, but look around for individual
postings by regular joe schmoes who have had one or two and are trying
to figure out what the hell turned up in their photos;
(especially if a turned off tv set
happens to be in the shot). Blow it up and check it out!
All of that and more is out there,
written by everyday people who have nothing to prove.
Just as the majority of people on
the internet are good and helpful and earnest, likewise, the majority
of them are not idiots.
The commonality that you are seeking
is SURPRISE.
That is where your truth can be
found.
